HISTORY

 Created by Eric SAUL, the ICGP serie was born at circuit Paul Ricard in September 1999, the first race being part of the support program for the Bol d'Or, this was the last race meeting held at the circuit before it closed.
   

Called challenge Oliver Chevallier to pay tribute to the charismatic French rider killed there in 1980, the race was an absolute success with more than 50 riders on the grid including numerous previous champions and GP’s riders from the 70's and 80's.

First ICGP race

   The ICGP ideal is to gather together previous Grand Prix riders and their machines, and to present them in prestigious events, giving to the public the opportunity of reliving those fabulous times when Grand Prix were held with 36 riders on the grid and 6 different classes.    

ICGP is devoted to Grand Prix machines 250cc and 350cc from 1974 up to 1984. 250cc and 350cc race together but score seperately.
   

Since 1999, ICGP program has been enlarge and currently included :Daytona, Chimay, Moto Légende, Magny Cours, Donnington, Mallory, Madeira, etc…

ICGP intends to develop further in order to offer a quality support package race organisers and sponsors, giving a prestigious and positive image. (+info)
